राहुल गांधी ने कहा, भारत में करोड़ों लोगों को उनके वोट देने के अधिकार से वंचित किया जा रहा है. हम लंबे समय से यह मुद्दा उठाते रहे हैं, लेकिन अब पूरा देश समझने लगा है कि सबसे ऊंचे स्तर पर वोट चुराये जा रहे हैं. गरीब लोगों के नाम मतदाता सूची से काटे जा रहे हैं. उनके अधिकार छीने जा रहे हैं.
राहुल गांधी ने पूछा, ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है? आरोप लगाया कि सत्ता में बैठे नेता एक ऐसा नया भारत बनाने की कोशिश में लगे हैं जो अरबपतियों के एक चुनिंदा समूह के मुफीद हो. ऐसा भारत जहां नागरिकों के पास कोईअधिकार न हों. गरीबों को उनके अधिकारों से वंचित रखा जाये. एक ऐसा देश जो केवल अरबपतियों के हितों के बारे में सोचे
