National News : केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने आज पुलिस स्मृति दिवस पर कहा, 31 दिसंबर 2029 तक भारत नशा मुक्त हो जाएगा. उन्होंने पुलिस से अपील की कि वे नशा मुक्त भारत के लिए प्रधानमंत्री के रोडमैप को पूरी तरह से लागू करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हों.राष्ट्रीय पुलिस स्मृति दिवस के अवसर पर एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए, अमित शाह ने कहा, नक्सलवाद के कारण, देश ने 1981 से लेकर मार्च 2026 तक कई दर्दनाक अनुभव झेले हैं.

गृह मंत्री ने कहा, इस अवधि में 3,600 से अधिक सुरक्षाकर्मी शहीद हुए. साथ ही देश भर में लगभग 13,700 निर्दोष नागरिक भी मारे गये. अमित शाह ने राष्ट्रीय पुलिस स्मारक पर शहीद जवानों को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की.

श्री शाह ने कहा, मैं शहीदों के परिवारों को बताना चाहता हूं कि पांच दशक पुरानी इस समस्या से पार पाकर देश अब विकास के पथ पर आगे बढ़ रहा है. इस प्रगति की नींव में 3,600 जवानों का बलिदान शामिल है. आपके और आपके परिवारों के बलिदान के लिए पूरा देश आपका आभार व्यक्त करता है.
पीएम मोदी ने श्रद्धांजलि दी
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बुधवार को पुलिस स्मृति दिवस (पुलिस कमेमोरेशन डे) के अवसर पर उन बहादुर पुलिसकर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि दी, जिन्होंने अपना कर्तव्य निभाते हुए अपने प्राण न्योछावर कर दिये. उन्होंने एक्स पर पोस्ट कर कहा, यह देश के उन पुलिसकर्मियों के प्रति गहरा आभार व्यक्त करने का अवसर है, जो कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी पूरी निष्ठा के साथ अपनी सेवाएं देते हैं. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने यह भी कहा कि कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने से लेकर अपराध से लड़ने, आपातकालीन स्थितियों में मदद करने और नागरिकों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने तक, पुलिसकर्मियों का योगदान अमूल्य है.
